πŸ‘ΊDungeons

Darkrest.Online offers a great daily dungeons experience, allowing players to team up with their friends and face amazing adventures designed for smaller and bigger groups, with great rewards of various rarities and unique items available only from the dungeons.

Access dungeons

Dungeons are available on the mainland, and every player can access them. The module can be accessed from the city's depo; just click on the huge dungeon book!

Dungeon Module

Since the module might look quite complex at first glance, we've prepared a graphic to explain it to you.

  1. A number of daily entries that you have left - these entries are character-bound, not account-bound.

  2. A list of available dungeons. The selected dungeon is outlined with orange color and slightly highlighted. After selecting a dungeon from the list, you will see the dungeon's details on the right.

  3. The dungeon's recommended level and information about FACC/PACC. It is important to note that not all dungeons are available for FACC players. This is mainly to shorten the waiting time to enter the dungeons.

  4. A list of available lobbies for the selected dungeon. You can "Ask to Join" in a specific lobby. However, your proposal might be declined by the lobby owner. It is essential to point out, that there might be lobbies that you will be unable to join because of the lobby settings, such as desired vocations.

  5. View actions (differ based on the module state). On-screen, from the left:

    1. Create Lobby - Create your own lobby.

    2. Enter Solo - Enter the dungeon solo (only if the dungeon supports solo entrance).

    3. Icon - Refreshses lobbies view and their information.

  6. Dungeon difficulty. Dungeons can be entered in three difficulty levels. The harder the difficulty, the better the items you can get.

  7. Possible rewards from the selected dungeon. They will refresh when you change thetheygeon's difficulty. One of these rewards will always be rolled; it is guaranteed.

Creating a lobby

While creating a new lobby, you can specify players' requirements (so that they can "Ask to Join" your lobby only if they meet those criteria).

You can specify:

  • Minimum Level

  • Accepted Vocations (while you are guardian, you might not need another one)

You can also select "Invite current party members" to automatically send invites to all your party members.

Loot rolls (Party loot)

In the context of dungeons within a game, the term "party loot" refers to the collective rewards earned by a party, which comprises a group of players collaborating during a dungeon adventure. Unlike individual rewards, which are distributed to each player, party loot is allocated to the party as a whole.

The distribution of this loot is based on the party members' decisions, who can choose how they wish to handle each item of loot.

When an item of party loot is obtained, each party member has the option to either express interest in the item (roll) or opt out of its distribution (pass). This choice is often influenced by the item's relevance or utility to their character. For those interested in acquiring the item, a common practice is to "roll" for it. This involves generating a random number for each interested party member.

The item is then awarded to the party member who rolls the highest number, adding an element of chance to the distribution process.

This method ensures that all interested players have an equal opportunity to receive the loot based on luck rather than a pre-determined distribution system.

It fosters a spirit of cooperation and fair play within the party, as members must communicate and make decisions together regarding the loot's distribution.
